Frozen Flame on Barry M Indigo

Today must be my lucky day because Barry M Indigo finally arrived!!! For those of you who do not know what color Barry M's Indigo is, it's a beautiful blurple color and I'm lovin it! Rainbow Honey's Frozen Flame arrived too! It's a stunning glitter pot with lots of colorful stringy glitters.

Barry M Indigo:
It took me about 3 coats of Barry M Indigo to get an opaque coverage. I guess I had too high of a hope from Barry M, but I'm still satisfied with the color. I can't find any other color like it! I'd give it about 4 stars and I'd definitely buy it again if I had to.

Rainbow Honey Frozen Flame:
I'm obsessed with this polish! Lot's of glitters and I really can't find anything like this. Consistency is awesome and the glitters do not clutter into one big blob like many other glitter polishes. This deserves 5 Stars!

Seche Vite
I don't have an individual picture for my baby Seche Vite. I got it for free when I went to SoCal for Spring Break. It's an awesome possum top coat. It makes my nails look unbelievably glossy like I've gotten my nails professionally done! It's so much better than Sally Hansen's Mega Shine...I need to go get some more of this shit...ASAP

Here are some shots I took hastily before I headed to class, but you can already see that the corner of my index finger chipped...UGH I hate chipped nails. But isn't this absolutely beautiful? It looks like fireworks in the warm summer night sky.

The Battle of the Blue Holos: Ombre Nails (Picture Heavy)

I'm so sorry for the lack of posts for the past month or so. I've just been busy with my classes.

Today, I'm here with 5 bluish green holos from 5 different companies:
OPI, Glitter Gal, A England, HITS, and China Glaze.

With Flash

Under natural sunlight

Under normal light

Thumb: OPI DS Fantasy (Dark blue holo)
OPI DS Fantasy isn't as holographic as some of the other polishes that I used for this look, but I still like the color and application was the best out of all. No streaks and everything covered in 2 coats. Since the OPI DS series are discontinued it is hard to find and expensive. Sometimes they have it on eBay for sale, so if you want DS Fantasy, keep looking on eBay. It's a beautiful deep blue holo. I'd recommend it. It's one of my favorite polishes that I own!

Pointer Finger: Glitter Gal Lizard Belly (Dark Green Holo)
I'd say that Glitter Gal Lizard Belly has the best holographic effect out of the five that I put on. Application was easy and I love the deep forest green. Sometimes it will look black and sometimes it looks like really dark green. I love it! It's such a mysterious color and I get complimented on it quite often. I got mine from Llarowe for $14. These sell out really fast, so if you see some in stock, you better order them ASAP! Again, one of my favorite polishes. I love this one even more than OPI DS Fantasy.

Middle Finger: A England St. George (Emerald-y Teal Holo)
When I first ordered this, I regretted it because I thought it be similar to Glitter Gal Lizard Belly, but when I received them, I saw that they were nothing alike. As you can tell from the pictures, Lizard Belly looks almost black most of the time and St. George looks emerald green. The holographic-ness of St. George is very similar to OPI DS Fantasy. It doesn't have the rainbow effect, but it has a blueish green holo-y shimmer to it. It's a beautiful color and I don't know of any polishes that have a similar color to it. The consistency was good (2 coats) and, overall, it's a pretty color, not super holographic, but still got a pretty shimmer.

Ring Finger: HITS No Olimpo Hera (Teal Holo more green)
There's really not much to say about this one. It's gorgeous and has a great rainbow-effect holo to it. It's a better holo-ed version of China Glaze Techno Teal (a dupe of China Glaze OMG) leaning more towards green. I like it, but I don't know if I like it enough to buy it again. It was really streaky for me and 4 coats barely covers everything.

Pinky Finger: China Glaze Techno Teal (Teal Holo more blue)
I bought this one as a dupe for China Glaze OMG. It's pretty, but it doesn't look glossy without a top coat. I wouldn't buy this again, but it goes well with the colors above!

I've bought a lot of new polishes so look out for the swatches!

Starry Night - Essie Bobbing for Baubles & Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor

My newest addition to my polish collection: Essie Bobbing for Baubles. It's a mixture of dark gray and navy. Sometimes it even looks black. It's a fantastic color! I love it more than my Zoya Kelly (Swatch coming soon!).

So this is my quick manicure before I went to class. I just couldn't go to class with chipped nails and I had couple of minutes so I quickly swiped some on before class.

Essie Bobbing for Baubles
Essie tends to fail on the quality of the polish and it always took me around 4 coats for colors I wanted to come out, but this one goes on super smoothly and it only takes two coats max to get an opaque coverage. Kudos to Essie!

I'm having problems with my camera so I took these pictures with my phone. I apologize for the quantity and quality of the pictures.
